Our Purpose:
The purpose of Springhill's school of Hope is to provide a
quality, individualized education for the children we serve. Our desire is
to provide a Christ centered atmosphere. We desire to provide a positive
learning enviroment in a Learning Center. We will encourage growth in
Christian character and work to help the student accept his or hers
responsiblity in living a Christian Life through daily Bible teaching,
Scripture memorization and prayer. We encourage Godly parental involement
in the Christian education of each child. We encourage positive Christian
relationships between students and their peers, students and the faculty,
and faculty and parents.
Our commitment is to the children entrusted to our care. They will recieve
a quality education taught from a Biblical perspective. We will teach about
America's christian Heritage and the qualities that have made her people
great. A high priority will be given to teaching respect for those in
authority, obedience to the law, and self discipline.
While the child's home is the first classroom and most influential, and
lasting force upon his character, the teachers at the School Of Hope
realize the solemn responsibility before God in molding the life and
character of each student in order to give a good foundation for each
child's future. The school will demonstrate a loving concern for each child
under their care.
The students will be using the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum
(A.C.E.), published by School of Tommorow. The focus is mastery learning
with each child advancing in the subject material at his or her own speed.
Students are taught goal setting skills and recieve individualized
instruction. Students are required to score an 80% or better before moving
to the next PACE or level ensuring the pupil will not have any gaps in
their education .
We have several trained music teachers on staff for piano guitar, and / or
voice lessons, which are included in the cost of the tuition.
We offer a fun, Phonics based reading program for students in Kindergarden
through Second grade.
We also offer arts and crafts, reading time, field trips, science
experiments, computer time as well as library visits.
Tuition cost is $200 per month. ( There is a discount offered if you enroll
more than one child). The Stanford Achievement Test is available to all
students at the request of the parents.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are
old they will not depart from it.
